In Focus: Eric Visselli, the CFO of Hamilton Sundstrand Auxiliary Power Systems

For Eric Visselli, 2009 proved to be a great year. After 18 years of brilliantly serving the same corporation, Mr. Visselli was promoted to Chief Finance Officer of Hamilton Sundstrand Auxiliary Power Systems, a United Technologies company.

Mr. Visselli once again proved his business skills and proficiency of the aerospace market by successfully fulfilling his responsibilities, paving way to more revenue through low-cost procedures. As CFO, he is leading 17 different finance professionals while managing all financial aspects of a $700 million APU business which operates throughout the United States, Poland, and Canada. He is also implementing plans to create production and repair capabilities in Rzeszow, Poland by the fourth quarter of this year.

Included in Eric Visselli’s past achievements as CFO are successfully executing cost reduction plans to move $100 million worth of materials to low cost sources, orchestrating a five-year financial plan targeted to improve ROS percentage by 10 percent in 2015, implementing business plans to bring in a third party company to manage repaired parts inventory, and effectively divesting French repair business for the second quarter of 2011 to allow for continued transition to reduce cost sources.

Together with other workers under the HS Auxiliary Power Systems, Mr. Visselli has turned the company into the nation’s leader in aerospace and industrial systems. Today, HS Auxiliary Power Systems still continues to design and manufacture a variety of products for commercial and military aircrafts, all of which boast of high quality and superior performance.
